Okay, so I've been neglecting this blog recently, but I have otherwise been hard at work, making all sorts of new goodies!
First up is the Forest Maiden. Her creation was rather spontaneous, and her materials are a hodgepodge. This plushie was inspired by Russian nesting dolls. She's definitely very granola, Kumbayah, all that stuff. One-of-a-kind, and in my Etsy store now!
Next we have this adorable bag! This was inspired by my daughter, who loves to play dress up and carry around bags and purses. I would have given it to her, but she's just not old enough to appreciate it, and it would just be covered in blueberries by now. (She would have also probably tried to give it to the chickens at some point. She always brings magazines, shoes... whatever she can find and puts it in the chicken coop for them. So thoughtful!)
This was another freehand creation that just kind of came to be, no divine planning or anything. I love using fabrics in applique designs. If you notice what a little scrap the nose is made from, you'll understand why I am an absolute fabric hoarder. I save all of my scraps. And I mean everything. I feel like everything can be recycled into something beautiful!
This one-of-a-kind bag is available in my Etsy store, too.
Last but not least, is this darling collection of owls. I was looking through all my old patterns, and decided to revisit my owl design. I am very pleased with how it came out! They are so cute and happy.
There are a handful listed in my Etsy store. And of course, they are all one-of-a-kind, so go take a look and see if any of them are calling your name!
